Bill Keating’s obituary appeared in the the August 1, 1997 edition of The Indianapolis (IN) Star:
WILLIAM E. KEATING, 80, Indianapolis, died July 29. He had been a counselor in the vocational department of the Indiana Employment Security Division for 20 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Services: 10 a.m., Aug. 4 in St. Christopher Catholic Church, of which he was a member. Calling: 2 to 8 p.m. Aug. 3 in Conkle Funeral Home, Speedway Chapel. Burial: Calvary Cemetery. Survivor: sister Josephine Metcalf.
